Sold My 122nd Property
I listed the property in May 2011 and closed the sale 31 months later. During that time the listing was renewed five times and I procured five offers. I came close to a sale in 2013 only to learn that the lender who held the existing loan had been taken over and the new lender was not going to allow an assumable loan to be assumed. I finally found somebody who wanted to occupy one of the retail suites with his business and use SBA financing to purchase the property. This took nearly a year to consummate. I never gave up!
